Dear Southold Music Families,
We hope this letter finds you and your families in good health and good spirits. The Holiday Season is upon us, and with that comes a very busy season for our student musicians. All of our performing groups are working very hard to put together what should be wonderful programs for your listening pleasure.
The Southold Music Department has decided to support a local food pantry during this concert season. Each concert in December will be a drop-off point for non-perishable food items such as canned goods, pasta, mac n’ cheese, etc. Also, paper products and toiletries will be accepted. This time of year can be difficult for many, and we want to lighten that burden with a simple donation of food, paper goods, or even gift cards to local grocery stores.
Simply bring in an item with you to either our Middle School Winter Concert on December 10th, or High School Winter Concert on December 12th, and place it in one of the bins in the lobby, outside of our auditorium. Once the items are collected, we will deliver them to our local pantries as needed.
We encourage you to make every effort to attend our performances. Our students work extremely hard and are excited to perform for you, the audience. Please give what you can, and have a safe and happy Holiday Season.
Sincerely,
The Southold Music Department
