Senior Privilege

Letterhead
Dear Senior Students and Families,

I hope that you are enjoying the remaining days of summer vacation!

All 12th grade students will have the opportunity to take advantage of Senior Privilege.

Senior Privilege, with parent/guardian permission, allows students in 12th grade to leave school following 9th period, excusing them from homeroom.

Like any privilege, Senior Privilege is something that students may lose due to cutting or disciplinary actions. If a student loses their Senior Privilege, it will be removed for the remainder of that quarter. Students will have the opportunity to earn their Senior Privilege back for the following quarter, so long as there are no further incidents of cutting class or significant disciplinary issues.

Students who participate in Senior Privilege will be expected to leave the building and return for any after school activities or athletics. Any student who does not participate will be assigned a specific homeroom.

Parents/Guardians should complete the attached permission form by August 26th.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your child's guidance counselor.

Sincerely,

Dr. Terence P. Rusch
Principal
Southold Junior-Senior High School
