Letter to Families: Senior Events and Graduation 2026
Dear Class of 2026 and Families,
Six years ago, I met your children as 7th grade students. I’m amazed to see their growth and progress, developing into young adults. The weeks ahead will provide us with moments to celebrate the Class of 2026’s many accomplishments, and the opportunity to reflect upon the fond memories that were created along the way.
Prom - Raphael - May 29th- Pre-Prom begins at 6:15pm
All information will be shared at the pre-prom meeting on 4/27/26 at 7:00pm. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Santiago.
Senior Sports Awards Dinner - American Legion Post 803 - June 1st at 6:00pm
Our senior athletes will be recognized for their commitment to Southold’s athletic programs.
Senior Elementary School Procession/Senior Countdown - June 16th at 2:00pm
The Class of 2026, dressed in their caps and gowns, will walk through the middle school, high school, and elementary school before heading to the front of the high school building for the Senior Countdown. Caps and gowns will be distributed to all students during the school day.
Graduation Rehearsal/Senior Breakfast - District Auditorium/The Hellenic - June 25th at 10:00am
Students should meet at the District Auditorium at 10:00am for graduation rehearsal. Following rehearsal, a bus will bring students to the restaurant for their breakfast. Students will return to school around 12:15-12:30 pm.
Commencement Ceremony for The Class of 2026 - Southold District Auditorium - June 27 at 11:00am
(Seniors report to library at 10:30am for lineup)
Graduation will take place in our District Auditorium. Based on class size, each graduating family will be provided 8 tickets. The ceremony will also be live-streamed by SOHO TV.
I am exceedingly proud of our students and look forward to celebrating the Class of 2026’s achievements - together.
